“Aja Devi” #DawnGoddess

#ConsortoftheSun

“Be calm, be strong, be grateful, and become a lamp full of light, that the darkness of sorrows is annihilated, and that the sun of everlasting joy arises from the dawning-place of heart and soul, shining brightly.”

#Abdu'l-Bahá

I love reading myths and sacred writings from different religions and wisdom traditions and when I encountered this above passage from Abdul Bahá it reminded me of the bedtime prayer I said growing up. Particularly, the line about being a “lamp full of light.”  echoed a line from the prayer which was “illumine the lamp of my heart” (how would one do that?)

I think as As a kid, these words inspired a nice visual that connected me to the mythical dream aspects of reality and helped me humble before whatever phenomena might exist beyond my young mind's ability to grasp.

Now I'm a big kid, and my ideas about love,  light, heart, and soul have evolved a bit and the sacred teachings of the ages take on a deeper, and also more practical and instructive tone. What if we seriously devoted ourselves to “annihilating the darkness of sorrows?” And how would we do it? Idk either but if we can perceive it we can achieve it, and we might as well try.  What is real cannot be destroyed, and there is nothing that is not really that could ever persist! All is consciousness, all is awareness, all is love.

Blessing the future journeys of this Beauty as she beams over to our kind friends at @smokerzland_smokeshop.Sometimes custom orders come with just a little creative direction and a lot of room for fun and exploration ... and this was one such project! Feeling blessed for the opportunity to bring another one of these eminently imaginal beings into the realm of the realz.

Thanks, @windhome for

And big ups @lilbearglass for the prep
